OPPORTUNITIES
FOR LIFE

Our forward-thinking university gives you individual attention and big opportunities

More than a degree

You’ll have the freedom to explore all your interests, as well as focus on your major and career goals. All students study the Core curriculum, which challenges how you think, and prepares you for every job you’ll ever have. You’ll also take part in community projects that have real impact.

Life-changing opportunity

Our A_LAB (Atlanta Laboratory for Learning) connects academic study with exciting careers. This is your opportunity to get an internship with a global company like Coca-Cola or CNN, or with leading artists and scientists.

Individual attention

At Oglethorpe, you’ll receive personal attention in every aspect of university life. Classes have an average of 17 students, so you’ll have lots of contact with your professors. Everyone will know you by name here, and all freshmen are invited to lunch and learn with the President.

Designed to be different

At Oglethorpe, you'll focus on your major from the first day of your International Year Program. You will study practical career skills, and minor subjects you feel passionate about. When you graduate, you'll be a well-informed individual who stands out and is ready for success.

A.R.C.H.E. program

The A.R.C.H.E. program gives students access to take courses at 20 colleges and universities in Greater Atlanta, including Georgia State, Emory, and Savannah College of Art and Design.

3+2 Dual Engineering

After completing their first three years at Oglethorpe, engineering students can apply for two more years at a partner university: Georgia Institute of Technology, Auburn University, or Kennesaw State University.
