International Study Center
These international student fees apply to students during the International Year program. After progressing to Oglethorpe University, you will pay international student fees set by the University.

Once you have received your offer of a place at Oglethorpe International Study Center, you are required to pay a deposit to release your I-20 immigration document. This amount will be subtracted from your invoiced tuition fee. Deposits cost between $2,000 and $6,000, depending on your country of residence.
The full balance of your tuition fees must be paid one month before the start date of your first International Study Center course. All fees for second or subsequent courses must be paid two months prior to the start date.
It is important to meet all your payment deadlines. If you miss a deadline or have an outstanding balance, you may be placed on hold and barred from attending classes until all payments are made in full.
Scholarships based on academic criteria are available to Direct Admission (based on high school grade point average) or International Year (based on grade point average in IY credit-bearing courses) students who meet the following minimum grade point average (GPA) requirements:
These awards are renewable provided the student earns a cumulative GPA of 2.5 at Oglethorpe. Students’ GPAs will be evaluated at the end of each spring semester.
Study Group and Oglethorpe are pleased to offer a merit-based scholarship of $10,000 to International Year students who meet the minimum grade point average requirement of 3.0.
